📣 Job Opening: Director of Revenue – Portugal Active

Portugal Active is one of the fastest-growing premium hospitality companies in Portugal, managing a carefully selected portfolio of luxury properties, including large private villas in top destinations like Viana do Castelo, Porto, and the Algarve.

We are building the year zero of our core management structure, and we’re looking for a Director of Revenue to take full ownership of our pricing and revenue strategy.



💼 About the Role

This is a senior position with high impact. You will be responsible for leading and optimizing pricing for a portfolio of large, complex, high-revenue properties with significant operational costs — where small mistakes lead to big losses, and fast, accurate decisions translate into measurable gains.

Mid and long-term stays are a strategic priority, given the seasonal nature of our market. You’ll also play an important role in experience-based upselling, contributing to total revenue per guest through activity sales.



🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute short, mid and long-term pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Deliver and maintain daily KPI reports (ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, margins).
  • Perform fast, sharp profitability studies per unit.
  • Monitor competition and trends using tools like AirDNA and PriceLabs.
  • Dynamically adjust pricing based on demand, seasonality, and market signals.
  • Work with core platforms: Slack, Pipedrive, PriceLabs. Knowledge of Rental Ready is a plus.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations and implementation teams.
  • Support experience sales, helping to boost total revenue per guest.
  • Help build and eventually lead the revenue team as the company scales.


What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in revenue management or pricing strategy, ideally in luxury hospitality or high-end real estate.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing tools like PriceLabs, Beyond, etc.
  • Strategic thinker with financial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Fast, autonomous, data-driven decision-maker.
  • Excellent communicator, able to align with multiple departments.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Hands-on mindset with ambition to grow and build from scratch.
  • Bonus: Experience with mid/long-term stay markets and international clientele.
